Let's take you back to a time long, long ago: Ryan Gosling was best known for his work on "The Mickey Mouse Club," and also just so happened to be neighbors with a pre-fame A.J. McLean in Orlando, Fla. If things had gone just a little bit differently during that time period, Gosling might have ended up joining The Backstreet Boys.

"When I was doing 'The Mickey Mouse Club,' we were living in the same place as that guy A.J. from The Backstreet Boys. He was always talking about The Backstreet Boys, but they were just forming that band," Gosling recalls to Celebuzz. "He was like saying how big they were going to be and he had a poster of them in his house and we were like, 'Just shoot the ball, dude. That's never going to happen. Never going to happen. Yeah right. Didn't they already do that with New Kids? »
