Claire Danes paid tribute to her fellow nominees during her Golden Globes award speech last night (January 13). The Homeland star won 'Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama' for the Showtime drama at the 70th annual awards ceremony, beating Nashville's Connie Britton, Damages star Glenn Close, Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery and The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies. She told the audience: "I want to thank the other women in this category who are so badass and so brilliant, and have all in their own way contributed to making television a wonderfully rich place for really dynamic, complex and bold female characters. "I'm very proud to be working in this medium at this moment and in this company." Danes also thanked the writers for Homeland, saying: "[They] didn't buckle after the (more) »
