Well it definitely isn't a coincidence that Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty is finally expanding nationwide just one day after the Oscar nominations were announced, but will the long roll out help or hurt its box office chances? It may not have to compete with all the big holiday releases but it still has some serious competition from Marlon Wayans' A Haunted House and Ruben Fleischer's Gangster Squad (although early reviews do not seem all that positive for either). In select theatres we also have The Baytown Outlaws starring Billy Bob Thornton, British horror flick Storage 24 and Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut Quartet. What will you be watching this weekend? Gangster Squad A Haunted House Zero Dark Thirty (wide) Quartet (limited) The Baytown Outlaws (limited) Storage 24 (limited) Struck by Lightning (limited) The Tower (limited) $ellebrity (limited)
