The categories and winners for the People’s Choice Awards are always all over the place — those crystal trophies went to everything from The Hunger Games to Castle to The Wanted tonight — and appropriately enough, the red carpet was just as eclectic, in a really good way most of the time. Some stars, like Julianne Hough and Kaley Cuoco went for short and flirty. Rumer Willis went for sparkly as hell, while Taylor Swift opted for an edgier white that reminded us of something Katharine Hepburn would have rocked back in the day. We welcomed the return of Rachael Leigh Cook to the awards-show circuit, and she wowed us in a beautiful, floor-length blue gown. In the gentlemen’s department, we were digging the different (but still quite respectable) suits on Giancarlo Esposito and Eddie Redmayne.
