Derek Luke has been tapped for a recurring role in FX's 1980s-set Soviet-era drama, The Americans, which stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as Kgb spies posing as Americans. Luke will play a character named Gregory, who, as the title of this post notes, is a Civil Rights activist-turned-kgb asset, with a romantic past involving the character played by Russell - a past romance that complicates his work as a trusted operative, as THR reports.
