Dubbed “the year’s funniest revue” by the Huffington Post last year, McC Theater’s annual Miscast gala will be held Monday, March 4, at The Hammerstein Ballroom on 34th Street. The incomparable Judith Light will be this year’s honoree. Light has previously appeared in McC Theater’s “Colder Than Here” and “Wit,” and will star on Broadway in Richard Greenberg’s upcoming “The Assembled Parties.” Light will be joined by a slew of talented and noteworthy colleagues, including like Jane Krakowski, Jonathan Groff, and Cheyenne Jackson. Victor Garber, known for his Tony-nominated performances in “Lend Me a Tenor” and Damn Yankees,” will serve as this year’s host. The Miscast gala is a one-night-only musical spectacular featuring some of Broadway’s most talented starts performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast.
