When news of Joseph Gordon-Levitt joining Sin City: A Dame to Kill For broke yesterday, Deadline mentioned that Josh Brolin was being pursued for a tough guy role. However, they also mentioned that Clive Owen and Bruce Willis would be reprising their roles. Well, it sounds like they didn't know what the hell they were talking about as a press release from Dimension Films announced today that Brolin would be taking the role of Dwight, the character originated by Owen in the 2005 graphic novel adaptation from director Robert Rodriguez. It had been discussed that someone else could end up taking the role since part of the story actually may call for Dwight to look completely different than he did in segments from Sin City.
