M. Night Shyamalan is all about the small screen. Fox announced two new shows in development today and they're both large-scale limited series. The first, "Wayward Pines," is from FX Productions and Shyamalan, who in August announced his first scripted television venture at Syfy with "Proof," co-written by Marti Noxon.  Read More: Will Making a TV Show Be a Good Thing for M. Night Shyamalan? "Wayward Pines" is based on the novel "Pines" by Blake Crouch ("Eerie," "Desert Places"), a thriller Fox describes as evocative of "Twin Peaks." It follows a Secret Service agent who arrives in the seemingly idyllic Idaho town of Wayward Pines to investigate two missing federal agents. The search takes an ominous turn, pushing the hero further from the life he knew and from the husband and father he was.
