Zack Synder’s (Watchmen) Superman reboot Man of Steel is certainly one of the most anticipated films of 2013, especially following the release of the impressive theatrical trailer last month. A few days ago, we got a new image of Henry Cavill (The Cold Light of Day) as the iconic superhero, and now Warner Bros. France has revealed the full uncropped still from the forthcoming comic book adaptation...

With a script written by David S. Goyer (Batman Begins) and Christopher Nolan (The Dark Knight Rises) on board as producer, there is a great deal expectation surrounding the return of Superman after such a long hiatus, and the official synopsis definitely ups the ante in terms of excitement:

"In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twenty something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. »
