What's big at the movies in 2013? Pretty much exactly what was big in 2012: sequels, reboots, and heroic characters with funny names like Katniss Everdeen, Bilbo Baggins and Channing Tatum.

We've rounded up 23 big movies -- from March's "Oz: The Great and Powerful" to December's "Anchorman: The Legend Continues" -- to watch for in the year ahead. Not all of them will be good, but they'll all be a big deal for one reason or another.

There are superheroes new (Superman's return in "Man of Steel") and old (welcome back Iron Man, Thor and Wolverine), reboots of beloved characters ("The Lone Ranger"), and a sequel to a beloved reboot ("Star Trek Into Darkness").
