MTV's new reality show "Buckwild" stirred up controversy last month -- before it had even aired -- with calls to cancel the West Virginia-based show, and now the stars are responding.

Shain, dubbed "Gandee Candy" on the show, and Shae, "The Spicy Southern Belle," stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Thursday, where they addressed West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin's comments, where he called the a show a "travesty" and claimed it, "plays to ugly, inaccurate stereotypes about the people of West Virginia."

"I represent myself and myself only," Shae told Kit Hoover and Michelle Beadle.
