Julianne Hough has opened up about experiencing mental and physical abuse as a child. The actress spoke out about the subject while promoting her new movie Safe Haven, in which she plays a domestic abuse survivor. The former Dancing with the Stars professional revealed that incidents took place during her difficult years as a child dancer in London, up until the age of 15. The sister of dancer Derek Hough moved from Utah to England when she was 10 years old to pursue a career as a dancer, but admitted that she was sexualised too young. She told the Us Cosmopolitan: "I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy façade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love. »
