"The Office" will welcome another big-name director to the world of Dunder Mifflin before it ends in the spring.

"Iron Man" helmer Jon Favreau will direct an upcoming episode of the NBC comedy, TVLine reports. Favreau and the show are working on coordinating their schedules, so it's not yet known where his episode will fall in the remainder of the season.

Favreau is the latest in a line of well-known directors to take the reins of "The Office." Joss Whedon, J.J. Abrams, Jason Reitman and Harold Ramis have also directed episodes of the show in the past.

Favreau's other TV directing credits include the pilot of NBC's "Revolution" (he's also an executive producer) and episodes of "Undeclared," "In Case of Emergency" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."  »
