Before 2012 came to an end, a brand new glorious trailer for Baz Luhrmann's flashy adaptation of The Great Gatsby arrived with more modern music used to drive the classic story from F. Scott Fitzgerald. It's not surprising since Luhrmann used modern music for Moulin Rouge, but this new film isn't a musical. Back in October we learned musicians like Prince and Lady Gaga had expressed great interest in doing music for the film, but we've yet to hear any official names for the soundtrack roster. But when it comes to the score, musician Jeymes Samuel (singer and producer of the band The Bullitts) revealed on Twitter (via The Film Stage) that rapper and producer Jay-z is producing the score and that sounds pretty cool.
