A paparazzo was struck by a car and killed Tuesday night (Jan. 1) in Los Angeles attempting to snap pictures of Justin Bieber's Ferrari while it was pulled over at a traffic stop on Sepulveda Boulevard.
TMZ reports that Bieber was not driving the car at the time; the Ferrari was being driven by one of the pop superstar's friends and another friend was riding in the passenger seat. When the paparazzo was advised by California Highway Patrol officers to step back from the traffic stop, he was struck by an oncoming car while returning to his own car.
The paparazzo's name has not yet been released and Bieber's camp has not yet made a statement regarding the traffic stop or accident. Lapd officer James Stoughton tells the AP that charges are not expected to be filed against the driver who struck the photographer. »
