Like Star Trek and Star Wars fans needed something else to fight over? The Star Wars franchise, now under the ownership of the Walt Disney Co., is gearing up to make movies once again. And one person they had their eye on? A man who helped resurrect another popular science-fiction franchise, J.J. Abrams. And they really had a shot at him.
