Even after everything said in the whole "I hope she's raped" fiasco, it's hard to overstate just how awful Tosh.0 is. Flat, uninvolving, and desperately abrasive, Tosh seems determined to challenge Family Guy for both baseless offensiveness and shocking formlessness, and he largely bests it. The real problem here isn't Tosh's apparent disregard for women and minorities (that's a subject for another piece entirely), but the tremendously lazy assumption that it constitutes a show. A case can be made for jokes about rape, race, and homosexuality, but no compelling defense has surfaced for Tosh.0.
