Friday Box-Office: 'The Hobbit' #1, 'Django' and 'Les Mis' a Close Second and 'Zero Dark' Dominating Limited Release

Those 3-D dollars are certainly keeping The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey out in front of newcomers Django Unchained and Les Miserables, but is there any chance the scorching spaghetti western or hot musical could overtake the Hobbitses for #1? Friday numbers place The Hobbit in first with $10.7 million, up 6% from the same day last weekend which resulted in a $36.9 million three-day so there's no reason not to expect the same result this time around, if not higher. However, The Hobbit does now face competition beyond the fact it has been in theaters for two weeks already. Django Unchained is on its way to potentially becoming Quentin Tarantino's highest grossing film to date as it brought in $9.7 million on Friday, followed closely by Les Miserables with $9.4 million.
