Maggie Gyllenhaal is onboard to star with Michael Fassbender and Domhnall Gleeson in "Frank," a comedy about an aspiring musician (Gleeson) who joins an outlandish rock band toplined by Fassbender. Lenny Abrahamson ("What Frank Did") will direct, from a script by Jon Ronson ("The Men Who Stare at Goats") and Peter Straughan (who received an Oscar nomination for adapting 2011's "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"). Scoot McNairy, who's had a break-out year with supporting roles in both Ben Affleck's "Argo" and Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly," is also on board. Gleeson was most recently seen in Joe Wright's "Anna Karenina," in which he plays hopelessly romantic, lower-class Levin. Fassbender is attached to various projects, the most prominent of which include Terrence Malick's upcoming untitled film about the Austin music scene, Lynne Ramsay's "Jane Got a Gun" »
