"Aliens": The Search For 'Ellen Ripley'

Thanks to BigGameHunter, Sneak Peek the new story trailer, from the upcoming Sega video game "Aliens: Colonial Marines". The  game, 7 years in development, springboards from characters and events established in director James Cameron's 1986 feature "Aliens".

"'Aliens' is one of the most influential science fiction properties of all time," said Randy Pitchford, President of Gearbox Software.

"Designed as an interactive successor to the landmark films from Twentieth Century Fox, this is a dream project about which our studio is deeply committed and passionate."

"Aliens: Colonial Marines" allows the player to control four 'Colonial Marines', each with a different personality and primary weapon.

Additional weapons include a flamethrower, 'pulse rifle', 'smartgun', pistol and various types of grenades.

The player controls one marine at a time, issuing orders to others using 'context-sensitive' commands, able to switch between characters at any time.
