The idea of Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds standout Christoph Waltz in a Muppets movie was so unusual that minute we heard it was a possibility, we immediately wanted it to happen. Normally, the Muppets lure comedians . or actors with a lighter touch . for their cameo roles. John Krasinski, Steve Martin, Rashida Jones, Bette Midler . these are the names we expect to see in scenes with Kermit and Miss Piggy. Then, Waltz dropped out of the still-developing Muppets sequel, and was replaced by Modern Family star Ty Burell. That makes sense. Skilled in uncomfortable pauses and delusional comedic glances, Burrell is going to play an Interpol investigator. However, Waltz has now said we shouldn.t count him out of the sequel altogether.
