Fox has released the first TV spot for A Good Day to Die Hard. Like the trailer, the thirty-second commercial features a bunch of quick cuts set to "Ode to Joy." It is a nice, distinctive hook for the marketing campaign to keep things fresh for the fifth entry of the Die Hard series that finds John McClane (Bruce Willis) and his CIA operative son (Jai Courtney) teaming up in Russia to stop a nuclear weapons heist. Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir, Cole Hauser, Amaury Nolasco, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Anne Vyalitsyna, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also star in the sequel directed by John Moore. A Good Day to Die Hard opens February 14, 2013. Watch the TV spot after the jump. [Update: 20th Century Fox has now released a second TV spot, which is included after the jump.] Official synopsis: Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, for the first time, finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack--unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA »
