Evil Eye Pictures contributes to Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D

The cinematic talent responsible for bringing Shrek (2001) and Avatar (2009) to the big screen have decided to collaborate with a fully integrated movie studio/production company and a group of performers known for a dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment.  Written and directed by Andrew Adamson, executive produced by James Cameron, and partnered by Reel FX and Cirque Du Soleil, Cirque Du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D arrives in select theatres starting on December 21st, 2012.

Tasked by Reel FX to design and produce the sand vortex which transports the main characters into the Cirque universe in 3D was Evil Eye Pictures. "The vortex effect required complex creative design and the simulation of millions and millions of animated sand particles," explained John L.
