Scottish outfit Mogwai have been turning it up and blowing your hair back for nearly two decades now, with moody, loud and intense post-rock of the highest order. While their songs have found their way onto countless soundtracks, the band themselves, curiously, haven't done much in the way of scoring. Most notably, they tuned up the abstract documentary "Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait," worked with Clint Mansell on "The Fountain" and also apparently worked on a random 1997 version of "A Picture Of Dorian Gray." That  said, their latest marriage of sound and visual seems perfectly fitting. The band have scored the French television series "Les Revenants." A spinoff of the 2004 horror film, the show centers on the residents of a town who also happen to be zombies. Naturally. Mogwai have lent their trademark touch to the proceedings with an album's worth of tunes that are distinctly theirs and suitably eerie. »
