Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate have established a release date for brand new Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Adventureland) comedy Girl Most Likely. Formerly under the working title Imogene, Wiig plays a failed playwright  who is left by her squeeze, attempts a false suicide and then is left no choice but to move in with her gambling addict, Jersey mother played by Annette Bening (American Beauty, The Kids Are All Right), and she is left yearning her former life in the glamorous confines of New York.

Many excited whispers flew about the flick at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year, after it was understood the movie would be a project of passion for Wiig. The release has been announced for July 19th, and Matt Dillon (There’S Something About Mary, You, Me And Dupree) as well as  Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, Scary Movie 2) are co-starring.
