It’s hard to make of what “Prometheus” is and what it could have potentially been. Though polarizing the fan base of the “Alien” franchise, it was either a treasure trove of concepts or unnecessarily convoluted and half-baked. One of the core members responsible for “Prometheus’” burst onto the big screen will definitely not be assisting in the sequel.
