While it also screened in September at the Toronto International Film Festival, Todd McCarthy said in his Vff review that the director’s latest, “will, as they used to say, separate the men from the boys when it comes to die-hard allegiance to all things Terrence Malick.” Along with the mesmerizing voice over by Javier Bardem, I’m intigued by what Malick has in store for us with this follow-up to one of my favorite films of 2011, Tree Of Life.
