Roger Corman is going to be spending 2013 revisiting waters he once waded through in the '50s and '60s.  The legendary producer is going to shepherd all-new adaptations (or remakes, whatever you want to call 'em) of select Edgar Allan Poe tales.

Corman embraced Poe early in his career, often with Vincent Price.  The Hollywood Reporter says House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, Premature Burial, Tales of Terror, The Raven, The Haunted Palace, The Masque of the Red Death and The Tomb of Ligeia are all on the remake slab.
