The Killing may have lost the interest of a lot of people, but could anyone have predicted it would lose the interest of one of its stars? Yes, actually. I’m still surprised The Killing is a subject of the news. Billy Campbell is departing the series, which was shockingly resurrected for a third season despite low ratings and a general lack of solid storytelling, I don’t know how I feel about this; The Killing has left me with an icy cold mass where my heart once was. I could argue this is a good thing for The Killing, but truthfully I can only think the best course of action for this show was undone back in May when AMC un-canceled it.
