Hugh Jackman is opening up about the joys of fatherhood and the fertility struggles he faced with his wife. The 44-year-old Les Misérables star dished on both in a sit-down with Katie Couric. Jackman and Furness went on to adopt Oscar and Ava, who are 12 and 7 years old, respectively. "Until you go through it, you realize it's not talked about a lot," Jackman said on Katie. "By the way, to be clear, Deb and I always wanted to adopt. So that was always in our plan. We didn't know where in the process that would happen but biologically, obviously we tried and it was not happening for us, and it is a difficult time.
