ABC.com over the weekend temporarily removed a gun-heavy episode of Scandal from its player “out of respect for those affected by the tragic events” in Newtown, Conn., the network hub explained. Update: On Monday evening, the episode was restored online.

The episode in question, from Dec. 13, shed light on the shooting of President Grant, by rifle. But perhaps most relevant, it involved the tragic murder of an entire family – kids included.
