Modern Family‘s New Year’s-themed episode on Jan. 9 finds Star Wars vet Billy Dee Williams (playing himself, natch) crossing paths with Ed O’Neill’s grumpy patriarch in Palm Springs, where the Pritchetts and Dunphys are spending the holidays.
