When it is relaunches in January, CBS TV Distribution’s entertainment newsmagazine The Insider will not only have a new name, omg!Insider, but also a new co-host. Thea Andrews has been named co-anchor of omg!Insider alongside Kevin Frazier beginning in January 2013. Also joining omg!Insider in January as on-air correspondents are Mary Kitchen and Yahoo’s Michael Yo. Andrews will replace Brooke Anderson, who is leaving after one year. Anderson will become a correspondent for The Insider‘s companion newsmagazine Entertainment Tonight. Andrews also hails from Et, having served as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and a host for Entertainment Tonight Weekend. Andrews has also covered sports for Espn and ABC Sports and has hosted a variety of sports, reality, award and game shows such as Espn’s Cold Pizza, Cmt’s Next Superstar, Top Chef Canada, and The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Red Carpet Show for TNT. »
