Ever since the 2009 premiere of “Parks and Recreation,” Aubrey Plaza has proved to be an interesting comedic presence that has impressed the likes of Judd Apatow and Edgar Wright, who cast her in “Funny People” and “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,” respectively. With her first lead role in “The To Do List” hitting next year, the deadpan actress is also gearing up to star opposite John C. Reilly in the zombie comedy “Life After Beth.” According to a piece about Plaza in The Guardian, “I Heart Huckabees” co-writer Jeff Baena will write and direct the horror comedy which seems to be ostensibly based on the 2010 UK short of the same name whose synopsis reads: “Domestic bliss, tenderness, heartbreak and the undead.
