With 72 sold-out shows supporting Mdna, Madonna's endlessly controversial tour earned $228 million, besting Bruce Springsteen's second-place $199 million earned over 72 gigs and way besting Lady Gaga's $125 million earned across 65 concerts. Hot tickets like Jay-z and Kanye West, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift all raked in quite a bit less, but they also all played less than half as many shows as Madonna. (Also, Bruce's 2.1 million-person attendance was a lot higher than Madge's 1.6 million. Just sayin'.) »
