Fox is set to develop a U.S. project which is based on the BBC series and tells of Linda Green, a woman in her thirties, her four best pals and their varied love lives and relationships. Variety reports that Alex Borstein is scripting the pilot for the show being executive-produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, as well as Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter. The BBC series starring Liza Tarbuck, Sean Gallagher and Claire Rushbrook, was created by Paula Abbott and Nicola Shindter in 2001 and ran for two seasons prior to being canceled due to low ratings. »
