Dylan McDermott, who’s returning to American Horror Story, also revealed that he is joining the cast of Mercy, a film adaptation based on the Stephen King short story Gramma (which was inspired by H.P. Lovecraft). The story came from King’s Skeleton Key, a short story anthology.

The film is directed by Peter Cornwell (The Haunting In Connecticut) and is another film from Blumhouse Productions. Last week it was announced that child stars Chandler Riggs (The Walking Dead) and Joel Courtney (Super 8) had joined the cast. Along with Frances O’Connor, this cast is coming together pretty nicely (and quickly!). With the Lovecraft and King vibes, you can bet we’ll be covering it the whole way. »
