Um, obviously? Listen, unless its the James Bond franchise (and even that has the actors stay on for multiple pictures), major studio franchises aren't in the habit of switching up the talent involved in lead roles. They've already spent millions of dollars to build and brand the thing around this person, so doing that all over again makes little financial sense (and who cares about narrative sense, it's C.R.E.A.M. up in here). So this bit of news seems well, not particularly newsy, so forgive us. But with the wheels spinning on a "Tron: Legacy" followup aka "Tron 3," with a new writer being brought on board to pen the script, it looks like we can start asking about casting, and that's just what Next Movie has done. They put the question to Garrett Hedlund, and he confirmed he'll be back, and served up this riveting quote: "Disney's very excited. »
