When he isn't being mixed up with Dermot Mulroney on Saturday Night Live, Dylan McDermott has been appearing on American Horror Story, with his first on screen appearance in the FX drama series' second season taking place just last night. And it looks like he'll be sticking around the horror genre for one of his upcoming feature roles, as he's been cast in Universal's adaptation of Stephen King's short story Gramma, titled Mercy. Directed by Peter Cornwell, Mercy follows two brothers who go with their mother to visit their dying grandmother, who just so happens to be a witch who made some kind of deal using black magic years ago. Frances O'Connor is on board to play the mother, and late last month, we learned that Super 8's Joel Courtney and The Walking Dead's Chandler Riggs were set up to play the brothers.
