I was very excited when I saw the first trailers for G.I. Joe: Retaliation. But now, I’m kind of getting bored. It didn’t help that the film was delayed from this summer to next March. All the action sequences and impressive visuals have been burned into my mind and this trailer does little to add to what has come before it.

I am probably one of the few who enjoyed the first G.I. Joe as the mindless action film it was. Which is evident in the fact that almost the entire cast has been dropped for this sequel. Quite a brave approach when you consider they are following the same story, with the president of the Us being impersonated by Zartan. I’ll certainly still be giving this effort a chance, as they are certainly raising the stakes with London being obliterated.
