Congrats to Archie Panjabi for her NAACP Image Awards and Golden Globe nominations this week! I'm torn, though, as Archie is up against Rutina Wesley for the NAACP category of Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Also up for NAACP awards: Glee for Best Comedy Series, True Blood and Grey's Anatomy for Drama Series, and Shonda Rhimes for Best Writing in a Dramatic Series.

A gorgeous Brooklyn-based lesbian couple are featured as part of a New York Daily news piece about how Doma affects the citizenship of immigrants who want to marry their same-sex partner. Just another reason Doma is dumb.

Speaking of dumb, NYC CIty Council Speaker Christine Quinn shut down some homophobic remarks made by Justice Scalia this week. Obviously she's not the dumb one.
