Mags Bennett -- or at least the actress who played her -- is returning to FX.

Emmy winner Margo Martindale ("Justified") is joining the cast of FX's new drama "The Americans." The show stars Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys as undercover Kgb agents living in suburban Washington, D.C., in the early 1980s.

Martindale will play a fellow Kgb illegal who delivers assignments to Russell's and Rhys's characters. She'll appear in at least eight episodes of the series, which debuts Jan. 30 on FX.

Martindale won an Emmy in 2011 for her portrayal of criminal matriarch Mags Bennett on "Justified." She co-starred in another FX series, "The Riches"; her credits also include the movie "Walk Hard" and appearances on "Dexter," "Suits" and "A Gifted Man."
