Angry Birds, the most downloaded paid app of all time, will not fly into theaters 2016, as much as Hop into them. Hop and Despicable Me producer John Cohen will oversee the making of the film for Angry Birds creator Rovio Entertainment, who is going into the movie making business for the first time with this film. That's likely the reason thev've also tapped former Marvel Studios chairman David Maisel to exec produce the Angry Birds movie. Maisel exec produced the Iron Man movies, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and even the 2008 Edward Norton version of The Incredible Hulk - maybe that means Big Brother Bird Terence will Smash!
