Glenn Close and Nick Nolte are set to star in "Always on My Mind," which centers on an aging rock star (Nolte) as he succumbs to Alzheimers, with his wife (Close) left to navigate his steady degeneration. "Rock of Ages" creator Chris D'Arenzio wrote the script and is attached to direct. Joe Neurater and Felipe Marino of Occupant Entertainment are producing. Occupant also has the Mia Wasikowska project "Madame Bovary" in the pipeline. Close and Nolte both nabbed Oscar nominations last year, for "Albert Knobbs" and "Warrior," respectively. Nolte will be seen next in Warner Bros.' troubled "Gangster Squad," which has been delayed and subjected to re-shoots in the aftermath of the Aurora movie theater shootings in July. Also on Nolte's slate is the romantic comedy "Hateship Friendship," starring Guy Pierce and Kristen Wiig, and Taylor Hackford's Jason Statham actioner "Parker." »
