In yet another underwhelming box office, there was a big shake-up at the top with the reigning king dropping to number 3.

Skyfall reclaimed the top spot this weekend with $11 million after spending 4 straight weeks sitting behind Twilight. James Bond’s 23rd adventure has been racking up records left and right over its 5 weeks of release, and now we have a new one to add to the mantle: highest grossing Sony film.

While the film still has a ways to go in terms of a domestic total (it is currently at $261 million), its $921.4 million worldwide total puts it at number 23 on the all time top grossers list, and, more importantly, above the previous Sony title holder Spider-Man 3.
