Nothing like a warm smile from Gandalf. Even with critical reports berating 48Fps and Hfr technology, exclaiming that we should never see it again, and the opening of The Hobbit a week away, there's a hint that more Hfr might be on the way. As I predicted in my own critical post on The Hobbit and 48Fps recently, if it plays with audiences next week, I actually think we'll be seeing a lot more of it. Not only James Cameron's Avatar 2 down the line, and the other two Hobbit movies, but there's a brief hint in a recent video interview with Sir Ian McKellen that might indicate Bryan Singer could be shooting X-Men in 48Fps, too.
