The Hobbit and Lincoln actor Lee Pace has confirmed in a recent interview with MTV that he is preparing to audition for the role of Star-Lord in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy! Pace is one of several actors up for the lead role in the film. Some of the other actors include Joel Edgerton (Warrior), Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas), Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables), Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy), James Marsden (X-Men) and Sullivan Stapleton (Animal Kingdom).

I go in on Monday to meet them all and audition for it, so wish me luck. I'm very excited about it. The script is great. The character is a lot of fun. »
