With Hugh Jackman in the lead and Melissa Leo, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello, Viola Davis and Paul Dano all set for supporting roles, Denis Villeneuve’s Prisoners is starting to turn into quite a promising project. Today, things have gotten even better as we now have word that Terrence Howard will take a role in the film as well.

Following ”a small town carpenter (Jackman) who takes the law into his own hands when the local police can’t find his kidnapped daughter and her best friend,” the film sounds pretty standard, right? You’d think so given that plot description. Although, considering the fact that the project has attracted as much talent as it has, I’m sure Villeneuve is cooking up something special with this one.
