After three men came forward claiming that Kevin Clash, who voices Elmo on "Sesame Street," had sex with them while they were just kids, Clash was forced to resign. And now comes word that Warner Bros has now cancelled a planned feature film that the studio was developing with Clash. The Elmo puppeteer was creating a "Calvin and Hobbes" type of movie about a kid and his stuffed animal that takes on a life of its own because of the child's imagination. The project would have likely been a mix of both live-action and animation, similar to "Ted." The project was so important to Warner Bros, that it brought on producers Dan Lin (Sherlock Holmes, Terminator Salvation) and Roy Lee (The Departed). It's unclear if Clash plans to take the project to another studio, but many believe that his Hollywood career is completely over. »
