Quentin Tarantino, beyond being an amazing filmmaker, has a very interesting backstory. Unlike most in Hollywood, who came out of the film school system, the Pulp Fiction director actually quit school in ninth grade and got his movie education working in a rental store. For years and years he watched film after film, all the while learning what makes the greatest titles what they are. But that's only the surface level of Tarantino's history. To go in depth you have to listen to the interview the filmmaker just did with Howard Stern. The famed director sat down with the famed radio host for 75 minutes recently to talk about Tarantino's upcoming movie Django Unchained, but they really ended up discussing the filmmaker's entire life. In just the first 10 minutes they begin talking about Qt's absentee father and how Stern actually had him on the show years before. It's a must listen »
